| I've been thinking of starting a Tuckahoe area Chess club, but haven't found a facility yet. The new Tuckahoe Library will not permit regularly scheduled meetings oddly enough. So much for tax-payers calling the shots on their hard earned dollar! Also, they only have one meeting room that would be suitable, and it would be exposed to a lot of traffic/noise. Very odd for a library! All of the other rooms are very small (four people), or else have tables unsuitable for playing chess games. Very oddly designed building. |
