About The Kaissa Chess Club

The Kaissa Chess Club has been meeting since 1997.

Currently attendance is at an all time low. At one time we were meeting at two separate locations on Thursday evenings, but that has changed. We now meet "only" at the Willow Lawn Mall Food Court for casual games. All meetings are free and open to the public. All you need to do is show up, bring your equipment and have fun! All ages and levels of play are encouraged to attend.

Rated Game Play

We are no longer meeting on Thursday evenings at the Bon Air Library for rated games and tournaments. The library community room is no longer available to the club on a regular basis. We continue to look for a new location to meet and hold rated games. If you are aware of a space that may be used for the club to meet regularly please contact Jim Jenigen at 323-1974.

Casual Game Play

However members continue to meet on Thursday evenings from 5:30, at the Willpw Lawn Mall for strickly casual games. Bring your own equipment and have fun.
